Pronouns: She/Her/Elle
I am passionate about creating opportunities for people to feel deeply connected — to themselves, to others, to the natural world, and to the possibilities around them.
Much of my adult life has been spent working with youth in outdoor settings. I’ve worn many hats over the years: summer camp counsellor and trip leader, zipline guide, whitewater canoe instructor, and international travel trip leader. Alongside my work with G*OIC, I also support an Outdoor Adventure College in Banff, Alberta, where I help young people take their first steps toward meaningful careers in the outdoors.
I am continually learning and evolving my facilitation practice to be as trauma-informed as possible. I’ve seen firsthand that people are most able to fully engage in an experience when they feel safe enough to show up as their whole selves. Creating that sense of safety and belonging is at the heart of everything I do.
My love of helping people feel prepared has naturally led me into a support role within the outdoor world. I take care of the behind-the-scenes details that make each trip feel intentional and welcoming. You may not see me out on trips as often anymore (though I do love volunteering as a “Gear Fairy” and supporting our Onsite Coordinator with food prep when I can — one of my love languages is snacks!), but you will see my name in your inbox, making sure you have everything you need and all the information to feel confident and ready.
