As a multi-disciplinary designer and community educator, I’m excited to be joining Inspiring Girls* Expeditions Alaska as the Art Instructor to explore the intersections of art, science, and outdoor recreation. I was first introduced to outdoor recreation spaces during college, and my passion for exploration is rooted in making these spaces more inclusive, accessible, and reflective of multiple ways of knowing.

My design practice centers on visual storytelling, ecological design, and community engagement—using creative expression to deepen our connection to place and make environmental learning more inclusive and approachable. I’m committed to creating spaces where young people—especially those who haven’t always seen themselves reflected in science or outdoor communities—can explore, ask questions, and feel a sense of belonging in the natural world.

I hold a BA in Environmental Studies and a BDes in Visual Communication Design from the University of Washington. As an incoming graduate student in Landscape Architecture at UC Berkeley, my work is centered on designing landscapes that are climate-resilient, place-based, and culturally relevant to communities. When the sun is out, you can find me rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, experimenting with 35mm film, or making all kinds of mixed-media art projects.
