Sport has always played a major role in my life. As a teenager, I played volleyball and beach volleyball competitively for years. I have had a coaching license since I was 14 and I coach children, teenagers and adults, as well as organizing tournaments and competitions. Through sports, I got to know people from other countries and cultures at an early age and experienced how sports connect people.
With my companies Bergnomadin & Mountain Brat, I want to get people physically and mentally fit for their own adventures in the mountains. I also offer camps and workshops myself and will start training as a mountain hiking guide in the summer of 2025. In addition, the topics of sustainability and upcycling play a major role. At Bergnomadin, I sell fanny bags and cosmetic bags that are mainly made from used (outdoor) materials and clothing locally in the Alps.
I also work as a freelancer in the IT sector and create and optimize websites for small businesses and coordinate more complex IT projects and products as a product owner.
In my free time, I love to go thru-hiking in the mountains, usually for several days from hut to hut or with my tent. I always take my drawing equipment, including a small watercolor box, with me to capture nature appropriately.
During my travels and stays abroad so far, I have been able to get to know many great mountain regions and people. My two-month trip to Chile / Patagonia, during which I mainly traveled by foot, public transportation and tent, was particularly formative for me. I also lived in Canada for several months and learned more about the First Nations there. As a Girls* on Ice coordinator, I would like to help make nature and the mountains a place that is open to everyone, regardless of gender or budget.
