Glaciology MSc Student

She/her/hers

As a volunteer of the Inspiring Girls Expedition it facilitates me to help introduce the enormous force of a glacier/nature to young people. Each glacier -with its individual beauty- forced me to start my master's degree in atmospheric sciences and still fascinates me a lot. Growing up in the mountains/Innsbruck, I have already been very close to glaciers since I was young. My passion for glaciers deepened even further in my Erasmus semester in Norway where I visited several glaciers. Additionally, I have already done measurements on the Hintereisferner, Austria as part of my study.Studying the glaciers forms the base for understanding how the glaciers were in the past and will evolve in the future, which further tells us how we can act as humans in times of climate change. Besides studying, I love to ski and hike in the mountains of Tirol, to play some volleyball with my team and to discover new places around the world.
