Adventure of Science Instructor

I wouldn’t call myself a scientist, but I’m definitely someone who loves nature. Clouds, trees, stars, wind, snow and rain - these things have always fascinated me, lifted my mood, and brought peace to my soul. As for the mountains, I’ve always loved going on family picnics, and because they weren’t a frequent occurrence, every trip to the mountains was filled with limitless joy and excitement. The grandeur of the mountains, their mystery, and their beauty have always held a special place in my heart.

My first experience of a multi-day hike with an overnight stay in the mountains was made possible by the “Adventure of Science: Women and Glaciers in Central Asia” Program. The summer of 2023 transformed my routine life, bringing a lot of new knowledge and experiences. Glaciers - something so unfamiliar - turned out to be so close and so important.

New interests, new acquaintances, new opportunities, and a new perspective on the world - these are all the valuable things that the program once gave me, and now, as an Instructor, I would like to pass all of this on to future participants.
