Pronouns: she/her

I am a biologist with a background in molecular and cellular biology and a master’s degree in evolutionary ecophysiology, driven by a deep curiosity about how living organisms interact with their environment. My work has taken me from research laboratories studying microbes and cells to the field, where I currently work as a field assistant with the Swiss Ornithological Institute on bird monitoring and research projects. Alongside my research activities, I am actively involved in nature protection associations and care deeply about protecting biodiversity and raising awareness about environmental challenges. Sharing science and helping others connect with nature is one of the things that motivates me most.

Outside of my scientific work, I am also a mountain leader and love spending time in the mountains hiking, climbing, observing wildlife, and exploring alpine landscapes. Being outdoors constantly reminds me why science, conservation, and mentorship matter, and I am excited to share that sense of curiosity and discovery with the next generation.
