Meteorologist

I am an meteorologist and atmospheric scientist by training, and by studying in Austria it is inevitable to get in touch with mountain weather and climate. I am especially interested in weather phenomena and small-scale processes related to mountains, which influence our everyday lives and also our environment. I hold a BSc and MSc in Meteorology from the University of Vienna as well as a PhD in Atmospheric Science from the University of Innsbruck. Right now, I am working at the Department of Atmospheric and Cryospheric Sciences as a postdoc

on numerical simulations of the atmosphere over a glacier in the Austrian Alps.

I hope to show you the interesting world of geoscience and its diverse fields! I think that you can do almost anyting when you're interested in the Earth system -- being in the great outdoors, measuring, coding, doing labwork, and most importantly, always learning new things!
