As a girl born and raised in a country where there are no mountains and the existence of ice is rather rare, it's very special to contribute to Girls on Ice. I completed a master's degree in Geoscience and Remote Sensing and a master's degree in Science Education and Communication in the Netherlands, and I've always been super passionate about snow and ice. This passion not only brought me  to the Austrian Alps, it also made it possible to discover the Chilean Andes, Svalbard, Iceland and the French Alps. Right now I am doing a PhD about snow transport on an Alpine glacier. 

I hope to inspire girls and show them whatever you want is possible. You will have to look across borders and take up any challenge along the way, but it's worth it!
